What a rare occasion! I actually did a wine tasting and sculpture garden tour. It’s been forever……It seems ridiculous given the list of vineyard recommendations we have for our guest. Between running the business and the farm I just never seem to have the time.

Winemark Wines is one of our top 3 recommendation. They specialise in Chardonnay, in fact, they only make Chardonnay! Unusual, given that the Hunter is famous for Semillon.. Now I admit that Chardonnay isn’t my first choice of white wine, but their Rusty Run Chardonnay it delightful. It’s light crisp and very drinkable…but I digress. Aside from the wine I love the Sculpture Garden and the divine gift shop.

The Broke region (30minutes from Valle Laguna) provides a dramatic backdrop for these magnificent sculptures. After wandering around the sculptures I highly recommend, purchasing a bottle of their wine, a cheese platter and finding a spot under a tree to enjoy the views.
