We (Valle Laguna) host the judges for the weekend, we are sponsors of the event and I volunteer as a guide on the village walking tours. Like I said…I love this event. Without doubt the weekends are the busiest time to visit the festival, but last year a growing number of people took advantage of the quieter mid week days to come and stay. This year the festival committee have compiled a wonderful package to encourage more people to visit mid week. If you book mid week accomodation anywhere in the Wollombi Valley (hopefully with us at Valle Laguna 😁) then you can include the following events to your stay for FREE!

Twilight Welcome to Country and Curator guided tour of Sculptures.

Local indigenous man Tim Selwyn from Wailan country will perform a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. A Festival Curator will take you on a guided tour of the vineyard’s sculptures with canapés and a glass of wine or cider.

Undercliff Winery – Tuesday 14th September at 3.00pm

Stonehurst Cedar Creek – Tuesday 21st September at 3.00pm.

Wollombi Village Walk and Talk Guided Tours

Our guides are passionate and knowledgeable about sculpture and the village and will help you fully appreciate the sculptures on display.

Whenever possible an exhibiting sculptor give an ‘Artist’s Talk’ to further enhance your tour experience.

Tours leave at 10.00am daily from the Wollombi Tennis Club, Negro Street, Wollombi.

The 2 hour tours will run each of the 16 days of the Festival.

Free Wine 

Visit the beautiful Undercliff Winery and Cellar Door, pick up a free Sculpture Festival Wine Glass, and receive a complimentary glass of Peter and Jane’s wine which is made onsite.

Stroll through the vineyard, have a picnic, or simply experience the wonderful sculptures amongst the vines.

Head up the road to Stonehurst Cedar Creek.

Visit the Cellar Door and receive a free bottle of wine per couple then wander through the beautiful grounds taking in more wonderful outdoor sculptures.
